WHO OPPOSES A PAIR OF SHOES?

To commemorate 20 years since the murder of Vjeran Miladinović Merlinka, a monument was installed in the centre of Belgrade. 🏳️⚧️
However, shortly after it was installed, a pair of pink high heels named “Size 43” that were part of the monument were vandalized.
Why do the citizens of Belgrade oppose this monument? What is the role of the media?📺
